Parental Oversight

By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions at registration, parents agree that they are fully responsible for monitoring their child’s behavior online and in our workshops. When registering, parents can opt-in to receive copies of all emails sent to their child. Parents should oversee their child’s activity in his/her workshops on a regular basis.

Child Safety and Privacy

When you provide personal information about your child when registering for a workshop, you provide consent for access to this information by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions upon payment. We do not sell or share this information with any third-party providers who are not a part of our educational delivery system (for example Google Classroom is used for our learning materials and Zoom is used for our live workshop meetings).

When registering your child to a workshop, each parent or guardian will be asked for consent to have the sessions recorded. Even though your child may not be seen or heard in the recording, we require permission from all participants in order to record the sessions. If everyone consents, sessions will be recorded and only participants will have access to them for six months after the workshop ends.

Information Collection from Children Under 13

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For any participants under 13 years old we follow these rules:

• Parental Consent Required: We obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13
• Limited Information Collection: We only collect information necessary for workshop participation (name, grade level, parent contact information)
• No Direct Child Contact: All communication goes through the parent/guardian account holder
• Secure Data Handling: Personal information is stored securely and not shared with third parties except as necessary for workshop delivery

• Student's first name and grade level
• Parent/guardian contact information
• Workshop attendance records
• Student work created during workshops and homework (with parental consent)

Parents of children under 13 have the right to:
• Review personal information collected about their child
• Request deletion of their child's personal information
• Refuse to allow further collection of their child's information

Processing Payments Within Registration Forms

We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle all payment transactions within forms. When you make a purchase on our website, your payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe through secure, encrypted forms integrated into our website. We do not store, collect, or have access to your credit card numbers, banking information, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliance requirements. Refund Policy

If you withdraw from a class before the second class Zoom, your registration fee, less a $10 processing fee, will be refunded in full within five business days via the same method used for your original payment.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel a class by the Friday before the workshop start date if we do not reach our minimum enrollment for that class as noted in the class description. Upon cancellation, your tuition will be refunded in full within five business days via the same method used for your original payment.
