At KidWrite!, we’re dedicated to the belief that reading should be fun. Especially in the summer. That’s why we have a Summer Book Club each year.
How It Works
-We meet weekly from July 12th – August 14th.
-Your child can participate live on Zoom and/or keep up with the recap offered later on our YouTube channel.
-Each week, we’ll relate one element of the Plot Diagram, like the Inciting Incident, and one Language Arts concept, like character traits, to what the kids are reading.
-We’ll also introduce essential vocabulary and point out elements of grammar and punctuation while we’re at it.
-Our Zoom meetings are usually lively, so your child will have fun in the process.
-The fee is $60, with sibling/friend discounts and scholarships available.
-We’ll supply the book and other materials.

Bottom Line
The ability to read with comprehension is essential. Without strategies for understanding what they read, along with a solid vocabulary, kids can’t help but struggle. Let’s take the time this summer to work on those skills!
